Owner, Therapist
My name is Erin, & I am the owner of Healing Minds. I have been counseling for over 12 years now. I work diligently with you to create and reach your goals. I have a custom style to counseling, and it revolves around the client's needs.
I enjoy the outdoors, being with friends and family, and exercising. I like to practice what I help my clients with, self-care and enjoying life with others.
I focus on addiction related disorders and mental health disorders. I have experience with addiction (drug, alcohol, gambling), codependency & enabling. I am certified in SMART recovery, meaning I can use non-12 step principles to help with addiction disorders if you prefer. I understand that many of my clients suffer from trauma, and I am trained to use EMDR as an intervention. I specialize in crisis intervention, as well as domestic violence. I am able to work with clients with other expectations such as: stress reduction, time management, money management, mood disorders, family stress/parenting, and more!
I love to use creative tools to help a client. I will use resources such as books, worksheets, videos, power points. This helps meet all client's learning styles. Some clients may like to use art while we talk in session. Clients may also need different techniques of counseling, and I am flexible.
Let’s work on you! I have many ways we can reach your goals. Come talk to a professional who has worked with a diverse group of people for over 15 years. Counseling is fun, counseling is effective, and counseling is unique. Together, we can create goals to match your readiness!
Erin can accept BCBS, UMR, UHC, Tricare, Humana and self-pay.

I’m Jo Mendoza, a vibrantly queer, unapologetically nerdy, tattoo-loving therapist who’s here to walk alongside you in your mental health journey. Whether you’re just getting started or feeling stuck in a plateau, we can work together to create meaningful and authentic change in your life.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, I’m currently pursuing a doctorate in Counseling Psychology at Louisiana Tech University. I earned both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (2018) and my Master’s degree in Counseling (2020) from Northern Arizona University. When I’m not in session, I enjoy camping, video games, adding to my tattoo collection, and spending time with my two affectionate cats, Jazz and Acree.
I believe therapy should be a collaboration, one grounded in both scientific evidence and deeply human experience. My approach is individualized, affirming, and flexible because no two people are the same, and healing should never be a one-size-fits-all solution.
Some of my current areas of focus include: • ADHD & Autism • Anxiety & Depression • Disordered Eating & Body Image • Grief & Loss • Stress & Life Transitions • Substance Use Concerns • Queer & Trans Affirming Therapy • Social Skills Support
If you're looking for a space where you'll be respected, celebrated, and truly heard — all while working through life’s challenges with evidence-based tools — I’d love to connect.
You can schedule with me by contacting 318-440-0864 or the Healing Minds Office

Hey! My name is Olivia, but my clients call med Liv. It is my passion to come alongside you on your unique journey in this life! I’m here to listen, connect, challenge, and advocate for the most healthy, self-aware, and fulfilled version of yourself. My purpose in this life is to give others an authentic, creative, and safe space to grow into who they are and who they want to be.
My specialty is giving my clients a safe space where they can be authentic about who they are and what they are going through. I strongly believe that we are all human and that we not only need this space, but deserve this space. I believe that the most important part of therapy is the connection that we build with each other. I use an integration of approaches, but I focus most of my integration on; Humanistic Therapy, Existential Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Multicultural Therapy, and Trauma Therapy. I believe that therapy is about more than managing your symptoms, it is about determining the root cause of your symptoms.
My ideal client is a client that feels as if they are not understood. A client that is unique and what culture would call a bit of a “black sheep”. In my practice, this has meant that I have worked with many neurodivergent clients, that may have Autism or ADHD, or both. I work with clients that have issues due to trauma, depression, anxiety, and maladaptive views of themselves, others, and the world. My clients’ goals are to become more self-aware, heal from their traumas, change their maladaptive thinking patterns and behaviors, and come to accept, and even love, who they are and who they want to be in this life.
I believe that therapy should be a space where we can travel to deep, difficult places, but I also believe it should be a space where we can be creative and even have fun! One of my favorite things is laughing with my clients. So, if you want to move towards healing, loving yourself, and learning to romanticize your life…come hang out with me! We will learn, grow, cry, and even laugh together :)
Some fun facts about me:
1.) I am a PROUD neurodivergent :)
2.) I love inner child work! One of my main goals in this life, is to make little me feel seen, heard, and loved.
2.) I love traveling and experiencing other cultures! My favorite place that I ever lived is Uganda, Africa.
3.) I have two soul cats named Stevie and Poe, named after Stevie Nicks and Edgar Allan Poe.
3.) I’ve been skydiving!
4.) I love to go thrifting/antiquing/estate sale-ing.
5.) My partner is from Hong Kong, China and I LOVE the Asian culture! My favorite holiday is Chinese New Year!
She can accept BCBS, UHC and UMR at this time.
She also can accept self-pay rate: $125/session.
She can be reached directly at 318-318-408-1786.
